THE CULTURE OF CHRIST. ( Agreement between Christ and culture).

Definition.
Culture is defined as norms,values, beliefs,customs and duties that we are used to. Culture is achieved through socialization. It's also way of life of a group of people eg. Values, beliefs, behavior, symbols; includes: religion, food, mode of dressing, language, death and burial rituals, initiation, naming of children, music and art.(remember all are tainted by sin).

1 COR 6:19 ‘Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own.’

God is the author of relationships. And for that case it is very true to conclude that godly romantic relationships are a blessing! Through these relationships we get to experience the extent of His love.

But then it is always wise to remember that to every godly blessing is tied to it a condition. And today,

1 Cor.10.23 All things are lawful for me, but not all things are helpful; all things are lawful for me, but not all things edify. (NKJV)

1Cor.6.12 “Everything is permissible for me”—but not everything is beneficial. “Everything is permissible for me”—but I will not be mastered by anything. (NIV)

I was in the middle of confusion and then boom! The light appears, it can’t get much better; it is at its best. The Terrifying current situation whereby everyone is advocating for their rights. Others are legalizing anything anytime. This is no longer getting us by surprise. Homosexuality, among other immoralities,has been legalized and protected constitutionally. And as Jesus said in Mathew 24 when speaking about the end times, many will be deceived. It is a saddening thing to find a Christian who holds firmly to his right rather than to what is right.

Peace is the basic unit for growth of any nation. When peace is there, citizens feel secure and they think of prosperity since there is harmony. Think of violence, will the country grow if there is violence? During this election period, let us all try to maintain peace. Peace is all we need. PEACE! PEACE! PEACE! Think of the many innocent souls that have been lost during the election period. Think of the 2007 post-election violence, many houses were burnt down, many people lost their lives, Would you like it to happen again? If the answer is No then let us preach peace. Let us live in harmony let us keep praying for our country.
