in the same situation; “what strength do I have, that I should still hope? What prospect that I should still be patient? Do I have the strength of a stone? Is my flesh bronze?” Job 6:11-12.
Actually in life it reaches a point where you wish to curse the day you were born just like job. That is the point where your prayers are not fulfilling and you begin loosing the desire to pray as you tell yourself; “what am I achieving with them.”
But God has taught me that during that moment that you are despairing he is most concerned and closest to you. You just have to hold on for a little while and you will understand. The situation is not out of hand yet he is still God and is still on the throne. It may be that there is a lesson he wants you to learn. If you have to grow to his fullness he has to refine you as silver is refined in the furnace. Zechariah 13:9.
One thing the lord wants you to know is that he loves you as his child. He loves you more than the prayers you make to him. If he answers you it is one way of showing his love for you but if he doesn’t it doesn’t mean his love for you has grown dim.
His pure promise for you in your desperation is that; “my grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” 2 Corinthians 12:9. And, “the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings. And you will go out and leap like calves released from the stall.” Malachi 4:2.
