By whichever means, I cannot trust a stranger I have met in a bank queue with my bank account pin. This is a resolution to many, just because you have no idea of what they will do next. You don’t know their character or who they are.A husband trusts his wife with all his secrets and same to the wife,

just because they know one another and they have build trust with each other. They have experienced much together that makes them free to share whatever many think is “important” be faithful to one another and recall the good things they have done together even when things seem impossible.

As human beings, we cannot trust God if we don’t know His character. When we don’t know who He is and what He can do to us. It’s only by knowledge of His character that we understand His faithfulness. Through three ways we know His character hence trust Him. This is by; studying His word, learning to listen to His voice and reviewing His works in our lives.

By His word we get to trust that He has never failed. He has never lied and has always been true to His promises from the ancient times. From His word we build trust in Him that He never cease to be God, He never run short of His glory and He always remains good no matter our situations.

Sheep know the voice of their shepherd. Same to those who know their God they know His voice. Meditating His word day and night helps us listen to His voice. The Holy Spirit quickens our mind to find a scripture to apply to our situations.

When we sit and count His deeds one by one we cannot end. Through His doings to us we trust Him more. He has been with us in the past, delivering us, healing, answering our prayers and much more. When we recall how faithful He has been we are encouraged to seek Him more. Knowing Him is a confidence for us to trust in His faithfulness. 1 John 5:14 “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.”
