INTRODUCTION

I bless the Lord for his mercies, favor, and grace he granted unto me. It is not by mighty not by my power but by his spirit that has helped me throughout my leadership period. MUCU MC has been a great impact in many lives of MOI university students since being a interdenominational and non-profitable organization. In the welfare committee I served together with

ROLES OF WELFARE DOCKET

Welfare docket it comprises of:

1.Vice chairperson of MUCU MC

2.Treasure – a nominee of MUCU MC

3.Evangelistic Teams’ welfare coordinators

4.School Fellowship Chairpersons

The role of welfare docket is:

1.Be responsible of the welfare of MUCU MC members physically, emotionally, mentally, and socially.

2.Raise funds to support the welfare kitty.

3.Overseeing the school fellowships.

4.overseeing members with special needs.

ACHIEVEMENTS

1.We were able to support the welfare of MUCU MC members by supplying food stuffs and clothes.

2.Raise funds to support the welfare kitty by conducting welfare giving day each semester.

3. supplied clothing to Turkana people during Tri-annual mission which took place from 13th May to 23rd May.

4.Coordinated with the chaplain DR. LUKE ARIKO EKITALA and by then acting patron DR. MARY MAHUNGU and the assistant patron DR. CATHERINE SIMIYU to support members mentally and emotionally.

5.Conducting and overseeing school fellowships i.e.

             i) SSF – School of science and agriculture fellowship

             ii) TSF- School of engineering fellowship

             iii) Teachers’ fellowship

               iv) school of arts and information science fellowship

6. received support from associates

CHALLENGES

1.Insufficient funds to support the welfare kitty leading to insufficient supply of food stuffs.

2.Dishonesty for some of the members causing difficulty in support some.

3 financial mishandlement of some of members hence causing strain on welfare docket.

RECOMMENDATIONS

1.The church to support the welfare kitty more so during welfare giving.

2. Conducting social activities.eg sanitation campaigns, Children’ Home visits

CONCLUSION

I would like to thank God for his grace and love upon my life and I also would like to thank my family and friends for your great support in this journey of leadership. To my successor, BABRA, be confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ (Philippians 1:6). To the church thank you for your support and my prayer is that you will support the incoming team and continue seeking the lord. GOD bless you all, GOD bless MUCU MC.
