Col.1.10 - And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God,

2Cor.9.8 - And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.

Do you know? You are created in God's plan and idea. In His likeness and glory to be like Him(Gen 1:26, 5:1). In this world, you are not of your own you belong to God. A masterpiece of God's idea and a creation designed by His own hands.(Eph2:20).

You are God's workmanship created to do good works which He prepared you to do(Eph 2:10, 2 Cor 9:8), and to bear fruits that last (Col 1:10). You have a goal and a race to run, faith to keep, and a prize to win in the end. This race of Salvation that we have been called into is not for the swift nor for the strong or qualified but for the hopeful, steadfast and patient, (Gal 2:2, 5:7, 1 Cor 9:24, Heb 12:1, 2 Tim 4:7). This is because He enables and qualifies those He calls and perfects them in their weakness.

Our God is a creator as depicted in Genesis chapters one, two, and five and He has not stopped creating. It is our duty to also work like Him for whatever our hands find to do we should do it with our might for in the grave there is no working, (Ecc 9:10). Wise men once said that the graveyard is the richest place on earth for beauty, gifts, talents, innovations, and opportunities lay in waste an enclosed housing of no return. We have been given an equal chance of time, air, space, and opportunities to manifest the good works in this life under the sun. A question to you, do you know what you have? A story is given in the Bible of three servants given talents by their master who went on a journey. Two of them invested wisely and made a profit but one hid his on the ground thinking that the master is a harsh man who reaps what he did not sow. The master on return from His journey rewarded the faithful servants and threw away the lazy servant (Mat 25:15-28). How are you using your talent, is it hidden or it's at work making profit for the kingdom. The master is coming with a reward for everyone according to the work done. Some will perish and gnash their teeth while others will be welcomed to His kingdom and their tears and sweat wiped with great crowns on their heads glowing and shining like the stars. Everyone's deeds will be passed through the fire and those of grass will fade but those with golden ones will be refined and rewarded.

You are encouraged this day to desire to have an understanding of His will and purpose in your life for the good work He began in you He will bring it to an accomplishment (Phil 1:6). This is by asking yourself, do I know why I have been created, what is my assignment in this world?, Am I fulfilling God's ultimate will and plan in my life, and if not what can I do to work out my Salvation and works with fear and trembling? (Jer 17:7-8, Ps 1:1-6).

When you receive Jesus as your Savior you become a servant and workmanship in His vineyard, (Eph 2:10). It is time to go back to your maker, author, and perfector of your faith through prayer. He is calling you and me into His righteousness by being sober and conforming to his likeness and being renewed and transformed in the mind to prove that which is the acceptable and perfect will of God in our lives (Rom 8:29, 2 Cor 3:18, Rom 12:1-2). All this will enable you to fulfill God’s intention and purpose in your life which is who I am? What I’m called to do? And to know whether you have achieved the calling. "Yes, you can" is a famous saying by former USA President Barack Obama. You can change and impact this world. The wasted years or opportunities are gone but now arise wipe off dust and head forward to your promising calling. A broken vessel is collected and mended into a beautiful masterpiece admired by all. The old has gone and the new has come to embrace it and run to achieve, (Heb 12:1). A child of promise you are (John 12), bear fruit by preaching the good news of Christ Jesus to the world and making disciples (Col 1:10, John 17:3, Mat 28:19), walk in the light by steadily growing and increasing in and by the knowledge of God with (fuller, deeper, clearer insight, acquittance, and recognition). Serve God and others (Gal 5:13). Offer living sacrifices of your lips in worship and manifest in the gift and fruit of the Spirit who gives you power, (Gal 5:22, 1 Cor 12:7). Finally, for one to manifest in the calling you must receive the owner of the calling, Jesus Christ the Savior in your heart by accepting that you are a sinner, believing He died for you, and confessing your sins and you will be saved, (Rom 10:8-10). You will receive the power to conquer and manifest and let His will and purpose be fulfilled in your life for He will always guide you if you allow Him.
